Donovan's Brain 4.0 from 0 reviews
view all

Dedicated scientist Dr. Cory (Ayres) has succeeded in keeping a dismembered monkey's brain alive and gets his chance to experiment on a human when the victim of a plane crash is brought to his lab. Over the objections of his wife Janice (Davis) and assistant Frank (Evans), Cory keeps the brain alive in a tank. Too bad for him, since the organ belongs to a ruthless, vicious businessman (the titular Donovan) who begins to influence Cory in horrible ways. Based on the novel by Curt Siodmak, and also filmed as "The Lady and the Monster" (1944), "Vengeance" (1963), and "The Brain" (1965).
