Charming musical version of the fairy tale as scored by Rodgers and Hammerstein. Warren is lovely as Cinderella, Damon is a handsome prince, and Holm is a perfect fairy godmother.

Cinderella released in 1964 and has a total running time of 83 minutes. This version of Cinderella was a made for TV movie. This film is based on the fairy tale of the same name. Lesley Ann Warren, Ginger Rogers, Stuart Damon, Celeste Holm and Walter Pidgeon star in this film. Cinderella lives at home with her evil stepmother and evil stepsisters. She does all the chores around the house and gets no respect. One day, the prince has a ball and invites many young maidens to the kingdom. His hopes are to find a girl to marry. Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters do everything possible to stop her from going. Her fairy godmother comes to the rescue and helps her wishes come true. In the end, Cinderella and the Prince live happily ever after!
