Sleeping Beauty is another good Disney film. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite but I enjoyed watching it when I was younger. Princess Aurora has a spell put on her by Maleficent that will kill her. On her 16th birthday a spinning wheel poisons her. Her fairy friends try to save her by putting a good spell on her. Their spell will keep her alive but she’ll be asleep instead. The only way she’ll awake is if she is kissed by her true love. Prince Phillip tries to save Princess Aurora and the Maleficent turns into a dragon inorder to stop him. But she is no match for him. He defeats Maleficent, finds the princess, kisses her and she awakes.

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty came out in 1959 and has a total running time of 75 minutes. It’s an animated film with music and magic. This film is based off the fairy tale of the same name. Mary Costa, Bill Shirley, Barbara Luddy, Taylor Holmes and Verna Felton star in this fun family film. Princess Aurora was cursed by the evil Maleficent. The curse is that Princess Aurora will die on her sixteenth birthday by touching a poisoned spinning wheel. The three good fairies take in Aurora and try to fix the curse by making her fall asleep and awake from a kiss from her true love. She falls in love and on her sixteenth birthday she touches the spinning wheel. The evil Maleficent captures her love, the price. He escapes, with the help of the three good fairies, and kisses Princess Aurora. Together, they live happily ever after!
