When neighborhood mad scientist Doc Brown (Lloyd) constructs a time machine from a DeLorean, his youthful companion Marty (Fox) accidentally transports himself to 1955. There, Marty must do everything he can to bring his high-school age parents together (so he can be born), elude the local bully, and get back...to the future. Solid fast-paced entertainment is even better due to Lloyd's inspired performance as the loony Doc while Fox is perfect as the boy completely out of his element. Soundtrack features Huey Lewis and the News. Followed by two sequels.

Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) goes to the Twin Pines Mall to meet his friend Doc when a group of Libyan terrorists kill doc for stealing their plutonium so Marty jumps in the DeLeoran time machine and speeds away forgetting that when he gets to 88 miles an hour he is going to back in time to 1955. When he arrives, his parents are in high school and his mom even flirts with him. He has to find Doc, who hasn't invented the time machine yet, explain to him what has happened so he can try and get back to 1985. This movie is so good - everybody has to watch this. Michael J. Fox does a great job acting in this movie and I love the ski vest! I wish I could go back in time and travel around.
