Widow Dolly Levi, while matchmaking for her friends, finds a match for herself. Based on the hugely successful Broadway musical adapted from Thornton Wilder's play "Matchmaker." Lightweight story needs better actors with stronger characterizations. Original Broadway score helps.

Hello, Dolly came out in 1969 and has a total running time of 146 minutes. This film is based off the musical broady play, Matchmaker". Barbra Streisand, Walter Matthau, Michael Crawford and Louis Armstrong star in this romantic comedy. Dolly Levi like to help her friends find love. I guess you can call her a "matchmaker". While in New York City, she helps match some friends up and even finds love for herself as well.
