The movie, The Last American Hero, was based off a series of articles. The movie released in 1973, with a run time of 95 minutes. Jeff Bridges plays as Elroy Johnson Jr. and Valerie Perrine plays as Marge Dennison. The Last American Hero is about Elroy Johnson Jr., also known as Junior Johnson, and his life as a famous stock car racer. He set the record to being the fastest racecar driver in the history of the sport. There are some pretty exciting racing scenes as well as humor and action.
