Rip van Winkle came out in 1985 and has a total running time of 60 minutes. This film is part of the “Faerie Tale Theatre” collection. Harry Dean Stanton and Talia Shire star in this film. Rip van Winkle is a guy who lives in near some mountains in New York. One day, he leaves town and goes up the mountains. There, he sees what he believes to be ghosts of Henry Hudson’s crew. He drinks with them and then falls asleep. He wakes up twenty years later to find that the American Revolution has taken place, his old friends are gone and his daughter is grown.
