Jack the Ripper's daughter returns to London where she works as a medium by day and stalks the streets at night. Classy Hammer horror variation on the perennial theme.

Christine

Another Hammer gem from their Golden days. Pretty young schizophrenic Anna, daughter of Jack the Ripper, causes lot of trouble by turning home objects as dangerous killing tools with creativity which would made Jason Voorhees envy her. Visuals are fantastic, with late 19th century London bathing in rich colours, and creatng total antithesis of sleazy and cheap period the film was made. Characters are interesting and sympathetic: angelic purity and innocence of psychotic Anna makes nice contrast to her lethal, if unwilling, dangerousness, and sour psychiatrist who tries to help her is seriously flawed but well-meaning character.
