Thirteen-year-old Rosaleen (Patterson) lives with her parents (Warner, Silberg) on the outskirts of a forbidding forest. The girl, who's on the verge of womanhood, listens to her grandmother (Lansbury) tell fairy tales and dreams of a medieval fantasy world inhabited by men who turn into wolves. An adult "Little Red Riding Hood" that's heavy on dreamy visuals and Freudian symbolism.

The Company of Wolves came out in 1985 and has a total running time of 95 minutes. Angela Lansbury, David Warner, Stephen Rea, Tusse Silberg and Sarah Patterson star in The Company of Wolves. This film is about a Granny who tells her granddaughter Rosaleen about werewolves and about falling in love with strangers who somewhat resemble werewolves. This film is almost like an adult version of Little Red Riding Hood.
