The Emperor’s New Clothes came out in 1984 and has a total running time of 60 minutes. This film is part of the “Faerie Tale Theatre” collection. Art Carney and Alan Arkin star in this film. This film originated from the fairy tale of the same name. There was an emperor who loved clothes. That’s basically all he cared about. Two men, who are fake tailors, claim that they will make him the best and finest clothes ever! They tell him his suit will be invisible to people who don’t want to believe. Even though the emperor doesn’t see the invisible suit, he claims he can. The tailor’s act like the suit is finished and acts like they are dressing him. He embarrasses himself in front of many people while he thinks he’s wearing an invisible suit that everyone can see.
