Brainy kids in California work with lasers on a class project that is actually intended for use as an offensive military weapon. When they learn of the scheme, they use their brilliant minds to mount an amusingly elaborate strategic defense initiative of their own. Eccentric characters and an intelligent script provide a bevy of laughs for the family.

My mom loved this movie. I remember always watching it growing up. This was a good movie. There was such random stuff in the movie too. It's a movie that will keep you entertained all the way through. If your a Val Kilmer van then you'll definitely enjoy this movie. Real Genius has to be one of my favorite Val Kilmer movies. Basically, Real Genius is about this group of students who are very smart. Geniuses. And they work on a project with lasers. There's a story line. It's good. You'll have to see for yourself. I definitely recommend this movies. It's great.
