Al Pacino is a Cuban refugee who becomes powerful in the drug trade until the life gets the better of him. A remake of the 1932 classic gangster film of the same name, although the first film has more plot. Extremely violent, often unpleasant, but not easily forgotten.

Tony Montana (Al Pacino) is a cuban refugee who is offered a green card for committing a murder and Tony accepts the offer. Tony then starts selling drugs and eventually becomes a rich drug dealer who lives in Miami. Tony's downfall is that he starts taking the drugs he is selling, cocaine, and he becomes paranoid and greedy. Tony falls in love with Elvira (Michelle Pfeiffer) and marries her. He gets really upset when his sister Gina starts dating a drug dealer so Tony kills him. Gina eventually gets killed and Tony falls apart and goes on a shooting rampage at his enemies that have surrounded his house trying to kill him. This 1983 movie is really good, however, not recommended for kids since there is a lot of violence and bad language.
