The Bond saga continues as Agent 007 is on a mission to prevent a crazed Russian general from launching a nuclear attack against the NATO forces in Europe. Lots of special effects and gadgets keep weak plot moving.

WARNING: REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS – WE RECOMMEND TO WATCH MOVIE FIRST! VERDICT: With only a couple of “not cool” things it’s hard to tell exactly what’s wrong with it. The story is quite exotic, intriguing and dynamic enough, the stunts are great, but all this put together looks too boyish, like in a teen’s movie. COLL STUFF: - Pre-title sequence with the “Acrostar” mini-jet - Great supporting actors: Gen. Orlov, Kamal Khan, Vijay - All girls are hot - Gadgets: watch w/radar, pen w/acid - Swapping the lot at the “Sotheby’s”: just imagine it in real life! - Plenty of really good stunts (car, bike, train, airplane) - Taxi-moped chase: something unusual - “Escape poster” on the wall - The jump down the balcony unwrapping a sari: sexy and unusual - Driving a Mercedes over the railroad tracks like a train - Fake alligator boat for swimming - Traveling circus: something new and productive for a story - Killing weapon: “yo-yo” saw - Exotic places: India (Taj-Mahal, tiger hunting, palaces) NOT COOL: - Fighting scene with circus in the end looks more like circus, less like fighting - No, Bond-Moore will never be good in a fistfight
