A British army officer stationed in India deliberately starts the Balaclava charge to even an old score with Surat Khan, who's on the other side. Still an exciting film, though it's hardly historically accurate. De Havilland is along to provide the requisite romance with Flynn. Also available colorized.

The Charge of the Light Brigade came out in the year 1936, with a run time of 115 minutes. The movie is also available in color. Major Geoffry Vickers (Errol Flynn) is stationed at the 27th Lancers in India. The movie takes place in 1856. There’s a fight between Surat Khan (C. Henry Gordon) and the British. Surat Khan and his gang massacres British woman and children. Now it’s up to Major Vickers and the rest of his soldiers to save the day.
