i have hunted for a copy ot "acorn people" since 1990----my son and i watched it on tv ,as an "after school special".he was going through chemotherapy at the time--19 years old---he really liked the story and how all the kids overcame their handicaps to do"normal"things in their on way.i have since lost my younger son to brain cancer, and i had a sevier stroke 2yrs ago---my older son -thtat watched the movie with me-his wife is now fighting a recurrance of breast cancer, stage 4,and this movie topic comes up often ----just keep on trying! i think "the acorn people"is a wonderful movie!!! *****
