Set in the early 1900s, the story follows the experiences of a woman after she leaves her well-to-do husband to teach at a school for the deaf and blind. Eventually she organizes a football game between the handicapped kids and the other children in the neighborhood. Good Disney family fare.

I fell in love with this movie decades ago. This was made after Walt had died and was a change of course for the company. In the original version, There was a smattering of adultery that was eventually edited out in the Television version. It was a shame because it was a much needed part of the story. This will bring tears to your eyes so grabbed the tissues.
