L.A. carwash provides a soap-opera setting for disjointed comic bits about owners of dirty cars and people who hose them down for a living. Econo budget and lite plot, but serious comic talent. A sort of disco carwash version of "Grand Hotel."

A group of employees become good friends while working at a car wash in Los Angeles, California. Besides washing cars, they have to put up with a lot from their customers. Two customers are a preacher and a cab driver. The workers have their disco music always playing to motivate them while they work. This 1976 comedy is really funny, has great music and good actors.
