Goldfinger
Ian Fleming's James Bond, Agent 007, attempts to prevent international gold smuggler Goldfinger and his pilot Pussy Galore from robbing Fort Knox. Features villainous assistant Oddjob and his deadly bowler hat. The third in the series is perhaps the most popular. Shirley Bassey sings the theme song.

WARNING: REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS – WE RECOMMEND TO WATCH MOVIE FIRST! VERDICT: Incredibly dynamic, especially for the 60’s. The plot is simple, but involving, which proves that a bank heist can be more entertaining than the idea of world domination. It also has a realistic feel because Bond-Connery is more of a spy and less of a Superman, and the villain is not a member of made-up SPECTRE. Goldfinger-Oddjob could be the best “villain-henchman” combo in a series. If only locations such as Kentucky and Texas were not so boring! COLL STUFF: - Great titles: here they really are a part of the movie theme - Legendary title song by Shirley Bassey - Bond’s own cameo: getting out of aqua-suit dressed in a tuxedo - Maybe the best “villain-henchman” combo: Mr. Goldfinger and “Oddjob” with the hat - Girls are hot (all 9 of them!) - Legendary scene: gold-painted dead girl (too bad they covered her butt!) - 1st appearance: Q-Branch workshop: always fun - 1st appearance: Aston Martin DB5 with tricks - beauty forever! - 1st time in series: laser gun - Again, Bond-Connery is natural in a fistfight NOT COOL: - Bond’s blue beach outfit: looks plain girlish - There are no gadgets outside of DB5: radio-transmitters don’t even count - 8 minutes of golfing: too long for an audience not obsessed with it - Pussy Galore is still a beauty at 37, but the age shows - C’mon guys, fat Goldfinger would sooner die than squeeze into that porthole on a plane (and the graphics are faulty)! - Locations are important, and Florida, Kentucky and Texas are NOT very exciting
