The Blues Brothers
As an excuse to run rampant on the city of Chicago, Jake (Belushi) and Elwood (Aykroyd) Blues attempt to raise $5,000 for their childhood orphanage by putting their old band back together. Good music, quotable dialogue, lots of wrecked cars, plenty of cameos. A classic.

The Blues Brothers came out in 1980 and has a total running time of 133 minutes. John Belushi (as Jake Blues) and Dan Aykroyd (as Elwood Blues) star in this comedy film. Jake Blues and his brother Elwood Blues grew up being raised by nuns in an orphanage. They find out that the church is going to be sold and the only way to keep the place is if the tax on the property is paid. There’s just two problems. The tax on the property is $5000 and it needs to be paid in less than two weeks. So Jake and Elwood decide to get their blues band back together and raise the money. Will they reach their goal?
This is a really funny show. Belushi and Aykroyd are really good actors who started out on Saturday Night Live in the 70's. Their black suits and sun glasses became a trade mark for the show. There are a lot of crash scenes that are a little dated now, but the trouble they cause around the city is funny. The two actors have a really good chemistry together so they are enjoyable to watch. Also, the music is really good from this music and became very popular as well.
