The Robinson family are determined to leave their home and friends and set sail for New Guinea to find a better life. While in route, a group of Pirates chase them into a storm and they are shipwrecked on a desert island and can't fix their ship due to the extensive damage. They build a really cool house in the trees and have a great time exploring the island and wild life. They have to be careful though because the island is loaded with pirates. They decide to set up booby-traps to try and fight off the pirates. This 1960 Disney movie is really a great family movie that everyone will enjoy.
