The Servant 4.0 from 0 reviews
view all

A dark, intriguing examination of British class hypocrisy and the master-servant relationship. Wealthy, bored aristocratic playboy Tony (Fox) is ruined by his socially inferior but crafty and ambitious Cockney manservant Hugo (Bogarde). Playwright Harold Pinter wrote the adaptation of Robin Maugham's novel in his first collaboration with expatriate American director Losey. The best kind of British societal navel-gazing.

Available on Running time 112 minutes. Originally from British.
