I have been showing this short movie to students in my music classes for over 25 years. I will be showing it for years to come. We see Ivan Hus, luther, carring a chunk of wood into his shop. Frame by frame, using only hand tools, we watch him make a violin. There is no speech, so I narrate for my class. After 12 minutes, the violin is done and kids get a valuable insight into the process of how something is made. I just wish I knew something about Ivan Hus.
