Heidi (Shirley Temple) was an eight year old orphan who lived with her grandfather who really didn't want her in the beginning but started to love her. One day, her rich aunt took her away to live with another family. The housekeeper of the new family was not very nice to Heidi, but needed Heidi to be a companion for Klara who couldn't walk. Heidi was a great kid with an excellent personality and Klara instantly liked her. Heidi taught Klara to walk and the housekeeper got angry when she found out because she thought her job would be in jeopardy so she tried to sell Heidi to the gypsies. Meanwhile, Heidi's grandfather missed her a lot, so he tried to find her. In the end, they are reunited and they both are so happy to be together again. This is a really good children's movie with a happy ending!
