The movie, You Light Up My Life, released in the year 1977, with a run time of 91 minutes. You Light Up My Life won an Oscar. Laurie Robinson’s (Didi Conn) dream since she was a child was to be a singer, songwriter and actress. She feels the best thing she should do is comedy. Her dad was a comedian and that’s what he would like to see his daughter take on. Laurie isn’t that good with being a comedian though. She’s better at singing and writing songs. Her fiancé is Ken (Stephen Nathan), but when she has a one-night stand with director, Chris (Michael Zaslow), she gets many emotions. Now she needs to figure everything out before she can move on.
