Bye Bye Birdie came out in 1963 and has a total running time of 112 minutes. This film is based on the play.Ann-Margret, Janet Leigh and Paul Lynde star in this family film. Conrad Birdie is a young guy, who's a very popular rock and roll singer at the time. He soon gets drafted. Before he leaves for the army, he heads to a small town in Ohio to sing on the Ed Sullivan show. There he plans to kiss one of his biggest fans goodbye.
