Selene and Michael are still on the run and still trying to figure out the depths of the various and betrayals and who, if anyone, they can trust. This time out they have to deal with the O.G. vampire and werewolf, and there are a few family issues to work out. There's also plenty of backstory, and more of what made the first installment a hit: Beckinsale in black leather, frenetic vampire-on-werewolf battle action, blood, and gunplay. As a bonus, there's a much better villain and script that brings everything home (but don't rule out another sequel).

This series of movies is really good! The war between vampires and werewolves. Selene, the vampire "death dealer" who's now fighting to stop the release of the original "Lycan" werewolf, William from the prison that's held him for centuries. William and his brother Marcus began the bloodline of vampires and werewolves, and after witnessing centuries of warfare between them, their father Corvinus now seeks Selene and the human vampire-lycan hybrid Michael to put an end to the war started by Victor.
