"Rashamon" meets the brothers Grimm as the Weinsteins introduce the kiddies to police procedurals and action flicks by way of "The Thin Man" and extreme sports. Red Riding Hood (Hathaway), Granny (Close), the Wolf (Warburton), and the Woodsman (Belushi) all get to tell their side of the famous story when the cops bust in on the proceedings. Plenty of references to genres and movies old and new ensure that adults will enjoy this one as much, if not more, than the kids. Somewhat clunky animation is the only flaw.

Hoodwinked came out in 2005 and has a total running time of 89 hours. Anne Hathaway, Glenn Close, James Belushi and Patrick Warburton are some of the main voices heard throughout this film. This film takes off where the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" ended. There's been a disturbance at Granny's cottage. The police ar there to investigate the distubance that involved a girll and a wolf. There's also suspition that this case is tied to the "Goody Bandit".
