Burnt-out hostage negotiator (Willis) retreats to the suburbs hoping for calm, only to find himself pulled into the middle of a deadly crisis. Three delinquents take over the house of an underworld accountant (Pollack), whose shadowy employers then kidnap Willis's family, forcing him to retrieve their vital info hidden inside. Very violent, exciting, and grim melodrama with a dizzying number of twists and turns. Ben Foster is memorably sick as the psycho leader of the young thugs.

Hostage released in 2005 with a running time of 113 minutes. Bruce Willis, Kevin Pollack, Ben Foster and Jonathan Tucker star in Hostage. Hostage is a movie about a LAPD hostage negotiator, Jeff Talley (Willis) who saves hostages. Jeff had decided to retire due to a hostage situation gone bad. Well before you know it he’s sucked into another situation where he has to negotiate a bad hostage situation. Will he successfully get these hostages out or will it end badly?

Hostage was such a great movie. Definitely suspenseful and excited. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat. I jumped a few times while watching this movie. Younger children shouldn't watch this movie. This is more for older viewers. Hostage stars Bruce Willis. He does a great job, yet once again. It's about three teenagers who take over a house and holds people hostage. Bruce Willis' character has to now get the hostages out safely. Hostage is filled with action and twist and turns. You won't want to take your eyes off the television. Definitely a must see movie.
