Uptight junior banker Harold (Cho) and his laid-back med student pal Kumar (Penn) take the edge of encroaching adulthood by getting high. A lot. One such session produces cravings for White Castle hamburgers and sets the pair on a convoluted quest, despite Harold's need to finish an important work project. The journey is complicated by broken down vehicles, side trips for weed, creepy tow-truck drivers, skateboard punks, over-enthusiastic cops, and a hilariously Ecstacy-fueled Neil Patrick Harris. The pair's odd-couple chemistry helps smooth over the more ridiculous plot twists, and the target audience, properly medicated, should enjoy themselves long after the final credits have rolled.

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle

Harold and Kumar are hilarious in this movie! They are friends and their favorite thing is smoking weed. When they get a huge, uncontrollable craving for White Castle, which wouldn't be my first choice, they have an adventure getting there since it is kind of far. They have car troubles and many other things happen that gets them sidetracked from their trip to White Castle. In the end, they finally get there, even though at times they think they will never make it.
