Typical young-love romance has small-town girl Rosalee (Bosworth) fall for actor-outsider Tad (Duhamel) while boy-next-door Pete (Grace) pines away in silence for her. Tad's agent (Lane) and manager (Hayes)--both oh so cleverly sharing the same name, Richard Levy--concoct the "win a date" contest to fix the bad boy image that's made him tabloid fodder. Rosalee is chosen and, to no one's surprise, Tad becomes intrigued. He pursues her much to Pete's dismay, and the usual dance ensues. Bosworth's down-to-Earth appeal saves the formulaic concept but one wonders what prompted Broadway success Lane to take the bit role.

Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!

This movie is definitely a chick flick, and I love it! Topher Grace, who plays Eric on That 70s Show is in it, too! Rosalee is just the average girl who has a crush on the hottest movie star, Tad Hamilton, along with every other girl. She came across this contest to win a date with Tad Hamilton. She didn't expect to win, but one day a bunch of news people showed up at her house and announced that she won! Her really good guy friend has had a crush on her for a really long time and never said anything about it and he was feeling kind of jealous. Tad is basically a womanizer and sleeps with a lot of girls. When Rosalee comes into the picture, he sees something in her that he has never seen in a girl. He tries to keep in touch with her and hang out whenever he can. The end has a little twist to it, though. I really like this movie, and I think you should see it if you haven't!
