Barrymore is the sweet girl with no short-term memory and Sandler is the love-struck island veterinarian who tries to woo her...over and over again. Sweetly charming at times, as Sandler tones down his more outrageous behavior for a decent romantic comedy. Clark does a fine job as Barrymore's slightly over-protective but loving father. Astin goes 180 degrees from anything resembling a hobbit as the pumped-up brother.

In this movie, Adam Sandler plays Henry, who meets Lucy, Drew Barrymore, at the little restaurant that he always goes to. When he sees her the next day at the same place, he makes a fool out of himself. He doesn't know about Lucy and her disability. He finds out that she got into a bad accident and she forgets what happened the day before. Throughout the movie, he tries to make her remember who he is by making videos and notes about what happened yesterday. He falls in love with her and his heart is crushed. In the end, his plan for her to remember is flawless and they get married and have a baby together. This is a really good romantic comedy.
