Revenge drama pits Ah-nuld against the Columbian terrorists whose actions caused the death of his wife and child. When investigators come up short, nothing-left-to-lose fireman Gordy Brewer (Schwarzenegger) takes matters into his own hands and sets out to catch "The Wolf," the rebel leader of Columbia's civil war and the one responsible for his family's demise. In Columbia, he meets Selena (Neri) and her son Mauro (Posey) and his instinct to protect and serve them kicks into action, giving him renewed purpose. Highlights are Leguizamo as Felix, the Columbian drug producer, and Turturro as an exiled Canadian working as a mechanic. Mexico subs for Columbia in this unbelievable and formulaic actioner for genre and Arnold fans only.

I love Arnold Schwarzenegger movies! He plays Gordon Brewer, a firefighter. He is running late to meet his wife, Anne, and his son, Matt, for Matt's doctor's appointment. Claudio "the Wolf" Perrini, disguised as a police officer, pulls up to the consulate in a motorcycle. Gordon sees Anne and Matt cross the street and the bomb in the motorcycle explodes, killing his family, and then Gordon gets hit by a car. He tells officials that he thinks the motorcycle cop was a terrorist, and they find out through investigations that the terrorists were retaliating for CIA operations within Colombia, and that one of the targets of the attack was CIA agent Peter Brandt. Gordon wants to get revenge and take things into his own hands. He is taken prisoner after he plants a bomb in Wolf's headquarters, and he meets Wolf's wife, Selena. She explains why Wolf is a terrorist, and also tells Gordon that he and Wolf are the same because of the need for vengeance. However, Selena decides to help Gordon... but who's side is she really on?
