Commodities trader Alec (Skarsgard) has been living in Athens with wife Marjoire (Rampling) and their children. He begins an affair with sultry co-worker Katherine (Unger) and abandons his family to go to the States with her and then changes his mind. However, when he returns to Athens, Alec discovers Marjorie has moved on with her own lover, Andreas (Katalifos). But Alec isn't giving up and the consequences are unexpected.

Alec Fenton lives with his wife Marjorie and his two children in Athens. While there, he has an affair with Katherine, a co-worker. He leaves his family and moves back to the United States with Katherine. He later changes his mind and heads back to Athens to win back his family only to find out that she has moved on and is with Andreas. He will do anything to get his family back.
