My daughter brought home a permission slip to let me know that they were going to watch the video. I was not aware that both the girls and boys video would be shown to them. I tried to look online for information but only got nice innocent information abut the video. After reading the review here I decided to watch the video for myself. The explanation of the video online was misrepresented. I will let you know what to expect in the GIRLS video. The video shows a naked girl (in cartoon form) with a slit for her virgina. It shows her boobs getting bigger and hair growing on her virgina and under her arms. Then it shows where her virgina is and it shows her anus (in anatomy-like cartoon form). It goes on to talk about the eggs in a woman's body. It talks about male sperm swimming to the egg and making a baby. Then it talks about what happens when there is no male sperm to meet the egg (menstruation). The BOYs video - The boy's video starts off the same way with a cartoon boy naked showing a penis and two testicales. It shows hair growing on the boys penis and under his arms. Then it talks about sperm and meeting the girls egg to make a baby. Then it also talks about in order for sperm to be created the penis must be "hard". The video then talks about an erection while asleep and sperm leakage which is called a "wet dream". Yes the video does say wet dream. To parents looking for information online you won't get it. You have to go in the school and review the video for yourself. I was going to purchase the video and place it online for people to see on YouTube or upload to Rapidshare or something because the online information is mis-informing. The video does touch on hygiene and appearance changes and some good things but to include such other graphic information is un-necessary (to me!) Also, to cross videos and show the girl's video to boys and vice versa is terrible. Why a young girl needs to know what a boy is going through is beyond me. I hope someone purchases these and posts the full videos so parents can get a REAL preview of the information that the schools are showing their kids. Parents, raise your kids quit trusting the schools, government and television to raise them. GET INVOLVED!

I have just reviewed this video at my children's school. My daughter is in the 4th grade and they (the school) is wanting to show both the girls and boys puberty video to them. My husband and I both agree that these videos are too graphic. These videos don't only talk about puberty but also talks about how to get pregnant. They show both the girls and boys genitals (in cartoon form). To me this vides may not only inform but it may peek curiosity about sex and pregnancy which may in turn help support early-age sex. This is just our review you should watch to form your own opinions. Jamie
