Unpredictable, unorthodox Detroit police detective Orin Boyd (Seagal, of course) gets sent to the baddest part of town after successfully, but unconventionally, breaking up a plot to kill the Vice President. There, along with his rambunctious new partner (Washington), he uncovers corrupt cops and a drug-running scheme involving the notorious crime lord Walker (DMX). Lots of martial arts sequences and loads of gunfire from, presumably, really bad shots. Romance also blossoms between Mr. Loose Canon and a precinct commander played by Hennessy. Typical Seagal flick, sure to be enjoyed by fans. Others should be wary.

I don't know of many people who know of this movie, but i think it's pretty good! Orin Boyd is a cop in Detroit who doesn't like following the rules and works in Detroit's 21st precinct. His way of enforcing the law always end up annoying the precinct captain, Frank Daniels. After he saved the Vice President by violating every order he received he is transferred to one of the worst precincts in the city, 15th precinct, Detroit's worst precinct. There he quickly encounters some corrupt cops selling heroin to drug dealers.
