Rohmer's extremely stylized version of Chretien de Troyes unfinished 12th century poem. Young Welsh knight Perceval (Luchini) comes to a mysterious castle where he sees a vision of the Holy Grail, although he doesn't recognize it. In the morning, the castle is deserted and Perceval resumes his wanderings. When he finally realizes what he has seen, the castle has disappeared and Perceval continues with his search for the Grail. French with subtitles.

The movie Perceval originated form an unfinished poem from the 12th century from Chresien de Troyes. The movie is in French with English Subtitles. Perceval has a run time of 140 minutes. Fabrice Luchini stars as Perceval and Andre Dussollier stars as Gauvain. Perceval is about a young knight with the name of Perceval, is in search of the Holy Grail. He believes the Holy Grail is in a certain castle. But once he gets there, the place slowly vanishes; meaning that soon after arriving, the people disappear and then the castle disappears. So off he goes, still in search of the Holy Grail. Will Perceval finally find the Holy Grail?
