A Night at the Roxbury Star_onStar_onStar_onStar_on 3.5 4.0 from 2 reviews

The Bubati brothers, like so many Saturday Night Live veterans before them, make the leap to the big screen with limited success. Steve and Doug (Ferrell and Kattan) continue their fruitless quest to gain entrance into the hallowed Roxbury night club. Their luck changes when they get into a fender bender with former "21 Jump Street" star Richard Grieco (playing himself), who gets them in. Typical of the SNL skits-to-big-screen formula, the bit works as a three-minute sketch but isn't funny or interesting enough to sustain even its meager 82 minute running time.

A Night at the Roxbury came out in 1998 and has a total running time of 83 minutes. This film originated from a skit from Saturday Night Live and turned into a movie. Will Ferrel (as Steve Butabi) and Chris Kattan (as Doug Butabi) star in this hilarious comedy. Steve and Doug Butabi work at their father’s floral store and would like to move on from there. They share the same dream and that is to open their own night club. They would like to open one as popular as the Roxbury but there’s just one problem. They can’t seem to get into the club. They finally get in and have the time of their life. This movie is so funny. Will Ferrel and Chris Kattan make a great team together. This film is full of non-stop laughter.

Despite any of the bad reviews, this movie is awesome! Will Ferrell people! He is funny! Steve and Doug work for their father in a floral shop and always try to go to the same club, Roxbury, to see if they can get discovered. They accidentally run into Richard, a star, and try to be all buddy-buddy with him. They all have an awesome night and make plans for their talents but then there's this thing called "too much alcohol" that makes Richard not remember any part of that night.
