First feature length, wholly computer animated film confirms what we suspected all along--toys do have lives of their own when we're not around. Pull-string cowboy Woody (Hanks), as favorite toy, presides over his fellow playthings in Andy's room. Enter new toy on the block, Buzz Lightyear (Allen), a space ranger action figure who thinks he's real. Jealous Woody and his delusional, high-tech companion soon find themselves in the outside world, where they must join forces to survive. Funny, intelligent script and voice characterizations that rival many live-action movies in depth and emotion. All this, and Don Rickles berating an actual hockey puck.

Toy Story is like every kids dream. I would've loved if my toys could talk to me when I was little. That would make things more fun. Woody is my favorite because when I was little, I wanted to be a cowgirl. The toys only come to life when the people aren't watching. I think if I saw my toys talk and move by themselves I'd probably be scared at first but think it's pretty cool. Woody and Buzz fight over who is Andy's favorite. The toy's adventure to try to find Andy, when they moved out of the house, is outside the house and they run into a lot of problems. The neighbor boy tries to dismember them and his dog almost eats them. When they finally find Andy, they have to figure out a way to get to him because he was in a car. Somehow they get to him. This is an awesome movie.
