I was shocked ! I could never imagine some boy's life could be so cruel: to be sold like a slave BY A FATHER!!! I didn't see the movie from the beginning, even knew the title...So..I had to search in IMDB by key-name Akla/Acla..I went further and further to find out where and when the events took place...1930's,Sicily..and it is Europe.. Should I rate this movie''excellent'',as it is a naked , horrible truth ? I guess so
