Blondie’s Blessed Event came out in 1942 and has a total running time of 69 minutes. Penny Singleton (as Blondie Bumstead), Arthur Lake (as Dagwood Bumstead) and Larry Simms (as Baby Dumpling Bumstead) star in this fun family film. There’s a new addition to the Bumstead family. It’s Blondie and Dagwoods newborn baby daughter, Cookie! Meanwhile, Dagwgood hires George Wickley, a cynical writer, at work. Of course there’s a bit of chaos at the Bumstead home and at work.
