The divine Miss M is back, but this time she's not so sweet. Midler, Najimy, and Parker are 17th century witches accidentally conjured up in the 20th century, appropriately enough on Halloween in Salem, Massachusetts. Seems they were hung 300 years back and they take their revenge in some surprisingly gruesome ways, given the Disney label. They rant, they rave, they sing (only once), they fly. See this one for the three stars who make up for the lack of substance with their comedic talents.

This was my favorite movie to watch around Halloween time when I was a kid. The Sanderson sisters Winnie, Sarah and Mary are witches who have been dead for 300 years and Max has accidentally brought the witches back to life on Halloween night. Max, Allison, Dani and the witches black cat Binx now have to save the children of Salem. The witches plan on stealing the lives of children to keep them young and beautiful. Off they go flying over Salem putting a spell on the children. I think it’s funny how Mary flies on a vacuum cleaner instead of a broomstick in the movie. But Dani, Allison, Max and Binx haven’t given up and come up with a plan to save themselves, the children and destroy the witches.

when i was bout 6 this is when i first seen this movie, it was as magical and enchanting to me then as it is now! infact i used to be scared of winnie when i was a child and now i just find her hilarious. i didn't like the acting done by alison, even though this film is not a character analyisation, but i notice that binx and alison looked in the film as being portrayed as 2 characters that rarely interacted and got along if you will. i thought the real stars of the movie were the 3 comedic witches, absolutely brilliantly done, once they are destroyed at the end, just as winnie explodes, i turn of the tv , i don't even watch the full length!! i give the movie 9 out of 10!!!!!
