Broadway's illustrious couple Lunt and Fontanne shine in this adaptation of the clever marital comedy by French playwright Molnar in which they also starred. This sophisticated comedy was their only starring film, although they were offered large sums of money to appear in other movies--they just couldn't tear themselves away from the stage. Remade as "The Chocolate Soldier" and "Lily in Love."
