Boy meets princess, loses her, finds her, wins her from evil vizier and nasty parrot, while being aided by big blue genie. Superb animation triumphs over average songs and storyline by capitalizing on Williams' talent for ad-lib with lightning speed genie changes, lots of celebrity spoofs, and even a few pokes at Disney itself. Adults will enjoy the 1,001 impersonations while kids will get a kick out of the big blue genie and the songs, three of which are the late Ashman's legacy. Kane and Salonga are responsible for the singing voices of Aladdin and Jasmine; Gottfried is a riot as the obnoxious parrot sidekick. Be forewarned: small children may be frightened by some of the scarier sequences.

Disney’s Aladdin came out in 1992 and has a total running time of 90 minutes. There are many versions of this movie, but this one is my favorite. Scott Weinger (voice of Aladdin), Robin Williams (voice of Genie) and Linda Larkin (Princess Jasmine) star in this fun family animation. Aladdin is a young guy who’s very nice, caring, and adventurous. His best friend is his monkey Abu. He meets Princess Jasmine one day and falls in love with her. She is being forced to marry the evil Jafar, but doesn’t want to. When Aladdin comes across a magical lamp with a genie inside. He is granted three wishes. So he wishes to become a prince so that he can marry Princess Jasmine. Jafar soon gets the lamp and genie must grant him three wishes as well. Now trouble has occurred due to the wishes of the evil Jafar. In the end, Aladdin saves the day, lives happily ever after with Jasmine and everything is the best it could be. I used to love this movie. This is another one of my favorite Disney films. The music is fun to sing along to as well.
Yet again another favorite childhood movie. My favorite character was Jasmine's tiger, Raja (I have no idea how to spell it). I have always loved tigers and want to get one in the future. I would sing along to the songs with the movie, and like with the Lion King, i had the video game when I was little and would play it all the time. Jasmine's dad is a funny-looking, little chubby guy. Aladdin is supposed to be the good-looking, poor, amazing guy that gets the girl in the end.
