More of the same from director Burton, with Batman more of a supporting role overshadowed by provocative villains. DeVito is the cruely misshapen Penguin who seeks to rule over Gotham City; Pfeiffer is the exotic and dangerous Catwoman--who has more than a passing purr-sonal interest in Batman; Walken is the maniacal tycoon Max Shreck. Pfeiffer fares best in her wickedly sexy role and second-skin costume (complete with bullwhip). Plot is secondary to special effects and nightmarish settings. Despite a big budget, this grandiose sequel is of the love it or leave it variety.

Batman Returns is a good movie. I remember watching it when it first came out. I though Batman was the coolest hero. I remember getting scared of the penguin. He was so scary looking to me when I was a kid. There was an awesome cast. Micheal Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny DeVito, Christopher Walken, and Michael Gough are some of the main actors. The movie is a little over two hours long, but it doesn't feel like it at all. The movie seems to go by fast because you're so entertained. Never boring. Very good movie.
