Freddy Krueger is still preying on people in their dreams, but he may have met his match as he battles for supremacy with a telepathically talented girl. What Part 4 lacks in substance, it makes up for in visual verve, including scenes of a kid drowning in his waterbed, and a pizza covered with pepperoni-like faces of Freddy's previous victims. This boxoffice bonanza set a new record as the most successful opening weekend of any independently released film. Followed by "A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: Dream Child."

For some reason it seems that people still enjoy the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. The fourth one is about Freddy Krueger coming back to life and still preying on the kids of Elm Street in their dreams. There are some new teens seen in this movie. Kristen helps her friends stay alive from Freddy but will he figure out what she’s doing to help them?
