In Dr. Seuss' only non-animated movie, a boy tries to evade piano lessons and runs right into the castle of the evil Dr. Terwilliger, where hundreds of boys are held captive for piano lessons. Worse yet, they're forced to wear silly beanies with "happy fingers" waving on top. Luckily, the trusted family plumber is on hand to save the day through means of an atomic bomb. Wonderful satire, horrible music, mesmerizing Seussian sets. The skating brothers (who are joined at their beards) are a treat.

The 5,000 fingers of Dr. T. Is an amazingly witty, brilliant movie. The charcters in the film reel you in so much that you feel their emotions with them. Though the story may seem far fetched how many of us has not had a crazy dream at one time or another and woke up feeling a little confused? The story itself reminds me a lot of The wizard of us, or alice in wonderland. This has been a favorite of mine since early childhood and I have passed it down to my family as well. I would also love to know if anyone has any info. on where I could find a couple spare copies, as mine is a little played out.
