A true Disney classic, detailing the often harsh education of a newborn deer and his friends in the forest. Proves that Disney animation was--and still is--the best to be found. Thumper still steals the show and the music is delightful, including "Let's Sing a Gay Little Spring Song," "Love is a Song," "Little April Shower," "The Thumper Song," and "Twitterpated." Stands as one of the greatest children's films of all time; a genuine perennial from generation to generation. Based very loosely on the book by Felix Salten.

This movie is so good. I was sad when Bambi’s mom died in the movie but the rest of the movie is happy and fun. Bambi is a fawn that has two great friends, a bunny named Thumper and a skunk named Flower. One sad day his mother senses danger and tells Bambi to run. Bambi hears gunshots and then tries to search for his mother. Bambi’s father tells him that his mother was killed and leads him away. Later in the spring Bambi returns and meets up again with Thumper and Flower. The animals are searching for a mate and they become “twitterpated”. Bambi meets Faline and they fall in love. Sadly, a fire has started that spring in their forest and now it’s up to Bambi to lead all the animals to safety.
