It's almost graduation and if Ferris can get away with just one more sick day--it had better be a good one. He sweet talks his best friend into borrowing his dad's antique Ferrari and sneaks his girlfriend out of school to spend a day in Chicago. Their escapades lead to fun, adventure, and almost getting caught. Broderick is charismatic as the notorious Bueller with Grey amusing as his tattle-tale sister doing everything she can to see him get caught. Early Sheen appearance as a juvenile delinquent who pesters Grey. Led to TV series. One of Hughes' more solid efforts.

They also get Ferris Bueller’s girlfriend, Sloan (Mia Sara), out of school. The three have a fun adventure throughout the day. Meanwhile, his principal doesn’t believe he is really at home sick. So his principal goes on a search to get proof he’s not sick. Can he get proof? Ferris has no limits. He loves to live life to the fullest. At the end of the day, Ferris has to rush home to beat his parent’s home. His parents think he’s at home sick in bed. This show will make you laugh because Ferris Bueller spends a lot of time to cover all his bases with his sound equipment in his room between the snoring, coughing and the dummy laying in his bed. He tricked everyone into believing that he was sick except his sister. The school principal is really mad at Ferris and on a mission to catch him because he doesn't believe that he is at home sick either. After Ferris pulls off the sick routine to his parents he decides to call his friend that is at home sick as well and talks him into letting them drive his dad's Ferrari around. Then Ferris pretends he is his girlfriend's dad and gets her out of school. They almost get caught but they make it home in time, but you won't like what happens to the Ferrari. It's a good show with a lot of laughs.
