Little Orphan Annie came out in 1932 with a running time of 60 minutes. Mitzi Green (as Annie), Buster Phelps (as Mickey), May Robson (as Mrs. Stewart) and Edgar Kennedy (as Daddy Warbucks) star in Little Orphan Annie. Annie is left home alone when Daddy Warbucks goes on a long trip. One day, while wondering the street, Annie becomes friends with a boy named Mickey. His grandmother recently died and is about to go into an orphanage. Annie helps feed him and then walks him into the orphanage. She too, is taken into custody. Mrs. Stewart, a rich lady, comes one day and wants to adopt. Annie does anything to get Mrs. Stewarts’ attention on Mickey. She did it! Mrs. Stewart adopts Mickey. At the end of the movie, it’s now Christmas and Mrs. Stewart invites the children from the orphanage to her Christmas party. There, they see Santa! At the end, Annie finds out that Santa is Daddy Warbucks!
